Sauber driver Sergio Perez will compete with the GP2 racer, Jules Bianchi. Both will be involved in the tests held the Ferrari at the end of this season. Perez and Bianchi, member of the Academy of Ferrari's (FDA), will be driving the Ferrari F2009 on one circuit, the Mugello or Fiorano, September.
"We will return to the track in September, at the Fiorano or Mugello," said FDA chief Luca Baldisserri as reported by ESPN F1. "This will be an interesting test because we will be pitted Jules Bianchi with Sergio Perez. I think both are highly motivated and this is the perfect opportunity for us to observe their ability," said Baldisserri.
In particular, Ferrari wanted to observe the Bianchi, who at last weekend won the GP2 race at Silverstone UK. Ferrari driver hopes it will go back up next year's F1 circles. "Jules has been through tough times, but the speed is no need to doubt. He made a mistake and in GP2, every mistake is very detrimental to the position in the championship," said Baldisserri.
"Last weekend, he showed that if he did not make a mistake then he will get brilliant results, as when he took pole and won the first race," he added.
